چکیده
Mycotoxins have become a serious issue in the animal feed industry and also affected aquaculture industry. can create health problems aquatic terrestrial animals, their presence agricultural products may result significant economic losses. To reduce impact of mycotoxins on Nile tilapia fry, two commercially available products—Organically Modified Clinoptilolite (OMC) multi-component mycotoxin detoxifying agent (MMDA)—were used this study. Six diets as treatments (T1 = Control (C); T2 + OMC 2 g/kg (OMC); T3 MMDA (MMDA); T4 AFB1 0.5 mg/kg (AF); T5 (AFOMC); T6 (AFMMDA)) with similar crude protein levels (35.75 ± 0.35%) were formulated fed to fry (1.97 0.1 g) for period 84 days. These fish housed 18 aquaria (100 L) at density 50 fish/aquarium. The results from study showed that significantly (p < 0.05) improved survival by 16% compared control group. Nevertheless, growth parameters not among treatments. indicated intake was higher diet (T2) aflatoxin B1-fed tilapia. efficiency ratio (PER) AFMMDA MMDA. A 14-day bacterial challenge test Aeromonas hydrophila demonstrated containing or when present diet. Therefore, supplementation is recommended ameliorate negative effects Tilapia feeds.

Effect of Different Levels of Dietary Supplementation of Saccharomyces cerevisiae on Growth Performance, Feed Utilization and Body Biochemical Composition of Nile Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) Fingerlings
This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of different levels of dietary supplementation of Saccharomyces cerevisiae on growth performance, feed utilization and body biochemical composition of Oreochromis niloticus fingerlings. Four diets containing supplementation at levels of 0, 0.5, 1 and 2 g kg−1 were fed to fingerlings of Nile tilapia (5.01±0.21 g) in four replicate tanks twice ...

Three purified diets were formulated using fish meal, soya bean, wheat flour, palm oil, minerals and maltose. The carbohydrate in the diets was increased from 5 to 15% by changing the cellulose content to study the effect of dietary carbohydrate level on the growth parameters of Nile tilapia Oreochromis niloticus. The protein and the lipid contents were kept constant in all the diets. The resul...

In this study, the effect of initial heterogeneity of weight and density on heterogeneous growth (HetG) evaluated by the coefficient of the variation of weight in the young Nile tilapia Oreochromis niloticus of the territorial species was tested. Fish were maintained in a glass aquarium (8 and 2 L of water) with two levels of initial heterogeneity of weight: low and high, under two density cond...

A three months study was conducted in cemented tanks (2.896ft×0.762ft×0.914ft) to investigate the effect of different salinity levels on growth performance and survival of Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus). Four salinity levels i.e. 1600 ppm in Treatment 1 (TI), 2400 ppm in TII, 3200 ppm in TIII and 4000 ppm in TIV were maintained while in control (T0) the salinity level was 800 ppm. Each tr...
