Evaluation of Management Performance in Protected Areas: Example of Adana Seyhan Dam Lake Wildlife Reserve Area

Aim of study: With the Performance Measurement Evaluation Method, it is aimed to disclose success implementation Adana Seyhan Dam Lake Wildlife Reserve Area Management and Development Plan. The study area located within boundaries Çukurova, Karaisalı, Yüreğir, Sarıçam districts Adana. Material methods: Plan identified 50 activities under 8 different programs in 2011. plan’s was measured with observations, question-answer, mapping methods. Main results: According first, second, third priorities fifty listed, results observations show that their rates are 37%, 27%, 33% respectively. Regardless these activities, findings indicate an 82% rate question-answers, while detect a 20% rate. Highlights: Considering displays overall 30% performance plan; i.e., relatively low level. research concludes out eight improvement projects, two inadequate, three unsuccessful, successful.
