Evaluation of patient flow and other queueing systems with relocation

چکیده
A queueing system with relocation reflects the behavior of various service and production systems. We present an implementation software specifically designed for evaluating patient flow between inpatient wards in a hospital. Our has simple inputs evaluates metrics using either simulation or Markov chain model. implemented command-line Python-based interface, ensuring applies to different operational settings. Throughout paper, we discuss current impact, possible applications, future work on software.

abstract while task-based instruction is considered as the most effective way to learn a language in the related literature, it is oversimplified on various grounds. different variables may affect how students are engaged with not only the language but also with the task itself. the present study was conducted to investigate language and task related engagement on the basis of the task typolog...

Background: The Single Assessment Numeric Evaluation (SANE) is a simple, one-question patient-reported outcomemeasure (PROM). We systematically reviewed correlations between SANE and more extensive PROMs.Methods: We identified studies with correlation coefficients between SANE and other shoulder, knee, and anklespecificPROMs. We calculated mean, median and range across studies...

Resource-Sharing Queueing Systems with Fluid-Flow Traffic
A system consisting of two buffers, each with independent fluid sources, is considered in this paper. Due to ease of implementation, the output capacities for the two buffers depend on the workload of only one of the buffers that is measured. A threshold-based policy is considered to dynamically assign output capacities for both buffers. Marginal workload distributions for the two buffers need ...
