Abstract The main objective of this study is to fabricate a Novel bio-inspired lattice structure for energy absorption. A design was proposed based on the microstructure one various butterfly species Papilio Xuthus. Two major parameters are chosen from make multiple designs which may cause changes in behavior among all available parameters. parametric values required were calculated with help Response Surface Methodology (RSM) using Minitab software. modeled Autodesk Fusion 360 and 3D printed specimens size 40x40x40 (all mm) fabricated by Stereolithography (SLA) process 3D-printed tested under quasi-static compressive loading Instron 8801 Universal testing machine (UTM). test results obtained used construct regression equations absorption (EA) specific (SEA). developed can be find out EA SEA any combination (x d) suitable applications.
