Experimental Characterization of a Novel Fluidized‐Bed Zn–Air Fuel Cell

چکیده

Zn–air fuel cells are promising energy storage devices for renewable and power sources, as they cost-effective have high density. However, limited charge discharge cycles low round-trip efficiency long been obstacles to large-scale market deployment. Herein, a new fluidized-bed zinc–air cell is designed, constructed, tested, characterized. The integration of the fluidized bed in leads key advantages such as: erosion anode passivation layer, which plays role rapid voltage decay keeping products reactions away from proximity electrodes, reducing concentration overpotential, due gradient electrode species diffusion boundary layer between electrode–electrolyte interface electrolyte bulk.
