This study investigated the dynamic behaviour of a spar-type offshore floating wind turbine (OFWT) analysed under various wave loads by conducting an experiment campaign. Both characteristic spar platform itself and with realistic moorings have been investigated. A particular focus was motions mooring lines, which were measured at series discrete points along one line using underwater motion capture system, in parallel tension measurement anchor points. The main objective this is to provide experimental data validate numerical software on research motions. free decay test has carried out confirm natural frequencies damping characteristics. then subjected range regular irregular waves obtain characteristics lines.
