Experimental Study of Model Refuse-Derived Fuel Pellets Swelling during Heating and Combustion

چکیده

Composites of sawdust and crushed polyethylene were obtained by pressing at 5–10 atm. The resulting pellets with a size about 10–20 mm then burned in airflow muffle furnace temperature 800 °C. combustion process was recorded, video data analyzed. made it possible to estimate the change particle different stages combustion. An increase linear dimensions during conversion achieved up 2 times. Particle swelling led decrease mechanical strength destruction particles before complete burnout.
