Experimental study on insulation performance of structured-core transparent vacuum insulation panels for different core materials

The conversion of existing buildings to ZEH and ZEB requires increased thermal insulation, in which the insulation window surfaces is particularly important. This study focused on measuring comparing changes conductivity transparent vacuum panels (TVIP), could be used as simple easy install building windows. These were later compared with results obtained from previous studies conducted by other research group members. measured values ranged between 0.017 W/(m*K) best performing frame-type thickness 5.1 mm, 0.011 double-layered peak-type core 7.8 mm. calculated U-values samples 4.1 W/(m 2 *K) 1.4 *K). From experimental it seen that changing composition had a larger effect overall sample than added parameters coating, getter agent, heating had. parameters, however, have substantial longevity inside envelopes, will thus experimented further.
