Experimental validation and intelligent control of a stand-alone solar energy conversion system using dSPACE platform

This paper presents the performances of an artificial intelligent fuzzy logic controller (FLC) based maximum power point tracking (MPPT) and a conventional perturb observe (P&O) MPPT is presented for stand-alone PV system tested in emulated test bench experimentation. The studied composed DC supply emulating panel, DC/DC boost converter, variable resistive load real-time implemented dSPACE DS1104 controller. To verify performance FLC proposed, several simulations have been performed Matlab/Simulink environment. proposed method outperforms P&O terms global search capability dynamic performance, according to comparison with method. practical implementation method, control source algorithms are designed using simulink/Matlab environment on Experimental results confirm efficiency its high accuracy handle resistance varying.
