چکیده
The differential evolution indicators, recently introduced for imaging mechanical in highly scattering solids, is examined a laboratory setting with the focus on spatiotemporal tracking of an advancing damage zone elastic specimen. To this end, prismatic slab charcoal granite quasi-statically fractured three-point-bending (3PB) configuration, while ultrasonic shear waves are periodically generated sample at certain time steps $t_\kappa$, $\kappa = \circ, 1, 2, ..., 4$. interaction probing propagating give rise to transient velocity responses measured plate's boundary by 3D scanning laser Doppler vibrometer. Thus obtained sensory data then carefully processed retrieve associated spectra scattered displacement fields $v^\kappa$ every $t_\kappa$. On deploying consecutive pairs multi-frequency $(v^\kappa, v^{\kappa+1})$, indicators computed exposing progress 3PB-induced Verified in-situ observations, each indicator map successfully reconstructs (a) support newborn fractures, and (b) loci discontinuities process that undergo interfacial designated timeframe $[t_\kappa \,\,\, t_{\kappa+1}]$. Further, it shown help better understand mechanism e.g., shining light fragmented nature induced cracks their coalescence. For completeness, inversion via reduced partial-aperture investigated, including one-sided reconstruction.

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water
abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
Differential evolution for dynamic environments with unknown numbers of optima
This paper investigates optimization in dynamic environments where the numbers of optima are unknown or fluctuating. The authors present a novel algorithm, Dynamic Population Differential Evolution (DynPopDE), which is specifically designed for these problems. DynPopDE is a Differential Evolution based multi-population algorithm that dynamically spawns and removes populations as required. The n...
متن کاملExperimental study and modelling of date palm fibre composite acoustic behaviour using differential evolution algorithm
Background and aims: In recent years, in most countries of the world, the provision of a calming environment without disturbing noise has become a need, which has subsequently led to significant growth in noise control techniques. It is now well documented that prolonged over-exposure to the excessive levels of environmental noise not only induces disabling hearing impairment but also contribut...
متن کاملExperimental validation of Mueller matrix differential decomposition.
Mueller matrix differential decomposition is a novel method for retrieving the polarimetric properties of general depolarizing anisotropic media [N. Ortega-Quijano and J. L. Arce-Diego, Opt. Lett. 36, 1942 (2011), R. Ossikovski, Opt. Lett. 36, 2330 (2011)]. The method has been verified for Mueller matrices available in the literature. We experimentally validate the decomposition for five differ...
متن کاملPerformances of Differential Evolution to Optimize Ultrasonic Arrays Transducers
The design of an ultrasonic array and its settings for a specific inspection involves multiple parameters: number and arrangement of elements, frequency, etc. A compromise between requirements (e.g. beam characteristics) and limitations (e.g. number of elements) is often sough via parametric studies based on simulation tools to ensure that the transducer has suitable performances in terms of de...
