چکیده
A comprehensive study combining experimental, computational, and field experiments was conducted to find out the most suitable catalysis method assist industries using Congo red dye get rid of this waste from industrial wastewater in Beni-Suef area. The adsorption potential kaolinite, Liagora farinose (Egyptian marine macroalgae) kaolinite modified by macroalgae assessed for removal aqueous solutions. kaolinite/alga nano-composite with a crystal size 40 nm fabricated wet impregnation technique. Our results indicate that surface modification kaolin an obvious increase toxic than individuals. Batch were applied both kinetics isotherms also explored order influence different experimental factors. percentage is highly affected adsorbent dose, working temperature, pH value. best temperature onto 40°C at > 7. maximum capacities found be 5.0, 7.0 10 mg/g alga nano-composite, respectively. Computational simulations studies have shown molecule on Kaolinite surfaces exothermic, energetically favourable spontaneous. well handled first-order diffusion model, while follow two kinetic models depending concentration. Finally, tests showed optimistic nearly 94% efficiency removing mixed dyes wastewater, which turn verified foundation new eco-friendly nano-adsorbents help reuse wastewater.

متن کاملPhotocatalytic and adsorption studies on the removal of dye Congo red from wastewater
Many industries such as paper, food, cosmetics, textiles etc. use dye in order to colour their products. The presence of these dyes in water even at very low concentration is highly visible and undesirable. Colour is the first contaminant to be recognised. Photocatalytic technique and adsorption methods offer a good potential to remove colour from wastewater. In the present paper these two meth...
متن کاملADSORPTION OF CONGO RED DYE ON HAZELNUT SHELLS AND DEGRADATION WITH Phanerochaete chrysosporium
The present work concerns the experimental evaluation of hazelnut shells as a low cost natural biosorbent. Adsorption of the direct azo dye Congo Red was performed within a concentrations range of 50-5000 mg/L. Hazelnut shells were employed as organic support for Phanerochaete chrysosporium cultures to study the best cultural medium composition for the MnP production. The capability of Phaneroc...
متن کاملIs Congo red an amyloid-specific dye?
Congo red (CR) binding, monitored by characteristic yellow-green birefringence under crossed polarization has been used as a diagnostic test for the presence of amyloid in tissue sections for several decades. This assay is also widely used for the characterization of in vitro amyloid fibrils. In order to probe the structural specificity of Congo red binding to amyloid fibrils we have used an in...
متن کاملSynthesis, Characterization and Adsorption Capability of CdO Microstructure for Congo Red from Aqueous Solution
Cadmium oxide rhombus-shaped nanostructure was synthesized using hydrothermal process followed by heating treatment. Clearly, X-ray diffraction pattern demonstrated the formation of CdO crystalline phase. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) showed that the obtained rhombus-like structure is composed of nanoparticles with the average size of 29 nm. In addition, we evaluated adsorption of org...
