Abstract The study considers the application of text mining techniques to analysis curricula for programs offered by institutions higher education. It presents a novel procedure efficient and scalable quantitative content module handbooks using topic modeling. proposed approach allows collecting, analyzing, evaluating, comparing from arbitrary academic disciplines as partially automated, alternative qualitative analysis, which is traditionally conducted manually. illustrated example IS in Germany, based on data set more than 90 3700 distinct modules. contributions made address needs several different stakeholders provide insights into differences similarities among examined.
