Exploring Teachers’ Needs for Guidance While Designing for Technology-Enhanced Learning with Digital Tools

Supporting teachers to represent their teaching ideas has attracted researchers’ interest in developing digital learning design tools that provide some form of guidance around the practice a Technology-Enhanced Learning (TEL) environment. This paper reports on study teacher education context utilising WebCollage as tool. The research focuses teachers’ needs determining resources and technologies while designing for TEL. Our findings convey converge towards tool providing flexibility designer either (i) utilise sound scaffolding mechanism incorporating taxonomy follows technology advancements or (ii) determine applying without any guidance. These may stimulate momentum further attention researchers involved with tools’ development.
