In this article, we study the stability of a porous thermoelastic system with Gurtin-Pipkin flux. Under suitable assumptions for derivative heat flux relaxation kernel, establish existence and uniqueness solution by applying semigroup theory, prove exponential without considering wave velocity means estimates resolvent
