چکیده

Introduction: Diffuse Large B- cell Lymphoma (DLBCL) is characterized by genetic and clinical heterogeneity. Different loci within the human leukocyte antigen (HLA) region have been implicated in susceptibility disease control of DLBCL. Methods: HLA typing was performed using Sequence-Specific Oligonucleotide (SSO) Primer (SSP) 60 DLBCL patients 250 healthy adult donors from local Bone Marrow registry. Statistical analysis conducted with version 29.0 IBM SPSS. The phenotypic frequencies HLA-A, HLA-B, HLA-C, HLA-DRB1 HLA-DQB1 between controls were compared 2-sided Fisher’s exact test. Results p-value < 0.05 considered statistically significant. Odds Ratios (OR) 95% Confidence Intervals calculated to further strength results. Additionally, a follow-up calculating Bonferroni-adjusted p-values (pc). Thereafter polymorphisms that showed significant difference included univariate multivariate survival together clinical-biological characteristics (age, stage, LDH, R-IPI). R programming language, 4.2.2 specifically “survivalAnalysis” package 0.3.0. used investigate associations each factor Overall Survival (OS) Progression Free (PFS). Results: displayed lower frequency HLA-C*12 (6.7% vs. 34.7%, p = 0.001, pc 0.00001, OR 0.13, CI [0.05, 0.38]), HLA-DRB1*16 (15% 29.7%, 0.02, 0.04, 0.42, [0.19, 0.89]) HLA-DRB1*03 (58.3% 77.5%, 0.01, 0.40, [0.22, 0.74]) individuals. In only advanced high LDH low versus R-IPI had impact on OS (p values 0.007, 0.003 0.002 respectively) PFS (p-values <0.001 respectively). Interestingly Cox regression evaluate HLA-DQB1*03 polymorphism although normal good prognostic HR 0.33 [0.17 – 0.65] 0.001), combination DQB1*03 2.07 [1.06–4.07] indicates significantly increased risk death (p-value 0.034). Regarding LDH- model also statistical significancy 0.001) similar way increasing while keeping ranges. Conclusions: Our results suggest express certain types Antigens represented less frequently may act protectively development However, presence rarely failed prove any positive indicating complexity pathogenesis. Measurement of pyruvate dehydrogenase enzyme in patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma relapse

Background: Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is the most common type of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL), which is the most common type of lymphoma. NHL comprises a group of clinically and biologically diverse diseases, which range from indolent to aggressive clinical courses. Despite treatment advances in the last three decades with the use of combination immunotherapy, a significant fraction...

Primary Hepatic Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma in a Patient with Scleroderma

Primary Hepatic Lymphoma (PHL) is rare and possibly associated with viral hepatitis and autoimmune diseases. Scleroderma could exceptionally be complicated by lymphoma. We describe PHL occurring in a 52-year-old female suffering scleroderma for eight years, with no history of cytotoxic or high-dose glucocorticoid therapy. CT scan, performed to work-up abdominal discomfort, constipation, and ...

Human leukocyte antigens class II and tumor necrosis factor genetic polymorphisms are independent predictors of non-Hodgkin lymphoma outcome.

Tumor necrosis factor (TNF) production and non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) outcome was found to be related to the TNF(-308) polymorphism. To explore whether this could be linked to neighboring polymorphisms, we genotyped the TNF(-376,-308,-238,-163), lymphotoxin alpha (LTalpha)(+252), and HLA DRB1 alleles in 204 patients with NHL and 120 controls. TNF(-308A) was the only allele associated with highe...
