Extensive Reading to Assuage Primary ESL Learners Reading Difficulties: A Systematic Review

Extensive reading is acknowledged as one of the approaches to encourage ESL learning and acquisition. With integration technology in education, extensive evolving accommodate current teaching environments. However, amount literature reviews on primary schools limited, many studies are focused learners secondary or tertiary institutions. Hence, this review systematically identifies implementation assuage Primary difficulties. Using three databases, namely; Google Scholar, Scopus, Educational Resources Information Centre (ERIC), 15 articles published between 2018 2023 were extracted. Two significant findings presented review. First, poor comprehension main factor that contributes learners' Second, can difficulties when learners’ unique abilities needs addressed optimally.
