Factors Influencing Attitude towards An Innovative Teaching Aid using Simulator Kit

Globally, local anaesthesia is a vital skill and part of the undergraduate dental curriculum. The inferior alveolar nerve block (IANB) most frequent regional techniques employed in procedures. However, this technique has been reported to have high rates failure among undergraduates interns. Local Anaesthetic Simulator Kit (LASK) therefore developed. main objective study thus examine factors concerning diffusion innovation attributes on students’ attitudes towards innovative teaching aids using simulator kit. A cross-sectional survey was performed questionnaire, distributed undergraduates. items question adapted from previous studies. total 150 data were valid for analysis. Respondents Year 1 3 students, involving 80% female 30% male. findings that including relative advantage, complexity, compatibility, observability trialability significantly influence students new aid anaesthetics. there no statistically significant relationship between complexity outcome variable. This empirical may contribute greatly formal instructional significance undergraduates, particularly clinical competence assessment at more microscopic level.
