Fingerprint inspired advanced end-effector and its applications

چکیده

Abstract The human fingertip consists of a fingerprint with many micro-grating structures. main roles the could be divided into two purposes, namely, enhancement frictional force and effective transmittance biosignal. In this study, we present fingerprint-inspired end-effector that has not only admirable but also electric conductivity. is composed fluorocarbon rubber, one famous materials to achieve high robustness. Through various experiments, novel performance micro structured rubber (MSFE) characterized by comparing macroscale patterned sample (MPS), which been already used in real industrial fields. Experimental results are analyzed theoretically. Furthermore, as feasible applications, suggest applications based on role fingerprint. One conductive astronaut glove force, other non-slip pad for next-generation glass transfer systems. these successfully observe enhanced system confirm possibility using MSFE applications. We believe useful powerful alternative an end-effector, aerospace industry display manufacturing processes.
