It contains highly diverse landscapes ecosystems with special value in many natural aspects including biodiversity. Bat species are usually regarded as key fascinating dwellers ecosystems. We recently conducted a bat survey May 2022 an initial understanding inhabiting this cave. Bats were captured using mist nets. Echolocation calls recorded analyzed PCTape system Batman Selena software, respectively. Results from confirmed that home at least six echolocating five genera four families: Hipposideridae (Aselliscus stoliczkanus, Hipposideros scutinares), Rhinolophidae (Rhinolophus thomasi), Molossidae (Mops plicatus) Vespertilionidae (Myotis pilosus Myotis cf. muricola). Of these species, H. scutinares M. listed globally “vulnerable” by IUCN Red List Threatened Species. Among Cave, each clearly distinguishable others terms morphological features, echolocation call structure frequencies.

A phylogenetic supertree of the bats (Mammalia: Chiroptera).

We present the first estimate of the phylogenetic relationships among all 916 extant and nine recently extinct species of bats Mammalia: Chiroptera), a group that accounts for almost one-quarter of extant mammalian diversity. This phylogeny was derived by combining 105 estimates of bat phylogenetic relationships published since 1970 using the supertree construction technique of Matrix Represent...

First report of bats (Mammalia: Chiroptera) from the Gray Fossil Site (late Miocene or early Pliocene), Tennessee, USA

Thousands of vertebrate fossils have been recovered from the Gray Fossil Site, Tennessee, dating to the Miocene-Pliocene boundary. Among these are but eight specimens of bats representing two different taxa referable to the family Vespertilionidae. Comparison of the fossils with Neogene and Quaternary bats reveals that seven of the eight specimens pertain to a species of Eptesicus that cannot b...

A first survey of mite species that ectoparasitize bats in the states of Ceará and Mato Grosso was conducted. The specimens of bats and their mites were collected in areas of the Caatinga and Pantanal biomes. A total of 450 spinturnicids representing two genera and ten species was collected from 15 bat species in the Private Reserve of the Natural Patrimony Serra das Almas, Ceará State, Northea...
