Forensic-medical retrospective analysis of cardiovascular injuries admitted to the emergency department

Aim: Vascular and cardiac injuries are rare cases compared to other traumas in terms of admission rates emergency services. emergencies secondary trauma among 1-2.5% all patients admitted the department. In addition, rate heart is around 1%. With this study, we will analyze interpret cardio-vascular injuries, which traumas, from a forensic-medical aspect.
 Material Method: This study retrospective cohort using data our hospital's automation archive system. Patients who developed iatrogenic trauma, had solid organ injury addition their existing injury, were brought room as deceased, came with cardio-pulmonary resuscitation not included study. A total 411 cases, 88 323 vascular aged 16-82 years study.
 Results: 5-year analysis, life-threatening due cardiovascular 22%. study.18 (20.5%) female 70 (79.5%) male. The most common sites upper extremity (43.7%), lower (25.7%), thorax (21.4%), abdomen-pelvic region (4.1%), head-neck (2.6%), multiple (2.1%), respectively.
 Conclusion: Cardiovascular high mortality morbidity. It important that consulted surgery department forensic reports these carefully prepared.
