FORMATION OF TRIBOTECHNICAL Al-Cu COATINGS WITH FUNCTIONAL ADDITIVES BY CENTRIFUGAL INDUCTION SURFACING

The article presents the results of metallographic and tribotechnical studies composite coatings based on aluminum with a high copper content formed inner surface workpiece by centrifugal induction surfacing. According to study, more than 40 wt.% structure is θ-phase (Al2Cu) inclusions т-phase grains (Cu3NiAl6 ), particles silicon, tin iron-containing phases. This has hardness parameter coefficient thermal linear expansion close steel, so that coating does not peel off from steel base. It also shown introduced into melt form intermetallide compounds released in its pure form, acting as solid lubricant reducing friction 0.03 at loads up 20 MPa.
