Four new genera and six new species of lyophylloid agarics (Agaricales, Basidiomycota) from three different continents

Abstract Four new genera encompassing six species are described in the Lyophyllaceae ( Agaricales ): monotypic Australocybe from Australia; Phaeotephrocybe Belize; Nigrocarnea Laos containing novel conidia-producing N. radicata and Praearthromyces two Asian taxa, P . corneri known Malaysia Singapore griseus Thailand, which lacks conidial production. In addition, we describe Arthromyces glabriceps , is first genus that production on basidiome. Alternative options for a classification of these lyophylloid taxa discussed based morphological, ecological biogeographical considerations rejected.
