Fragmentation-Oriented Design of Olefin Polymerization Catalysts: Support Porosity

The development of catalysts for the production polyethylene and polypropylene is ordinarily accomplished on a trial-and-error experimentation program. From point-of-view fragmentation performance, support porosity key property affecting mechanical resistance, and, therefore, it determines process during early moments polymerization. design can be more accurately determined by applying theoretical knowledge acquired from previous research, but this not consolidated catalyst design. This article reports methodology to optimize using simple fundamental model process. Using approach, fragmentation-oriented supports achieved polymerization reactors.
