A precise transfer matrix was employed to analyze the free vibration characteristics of a cord-reinforced air spring with winding formation under preload conditions. The abstracted as rotary combined shell structure variable trajectory characteristics. structure, which consisted cylindrical and toroidal shells, analyzed for its pre-stress theory thin shells create control equations effect. Helmholtz equation used influence sound pressure inside fluid–structure coupling boundary derived from equation, geometrical physical shells. Under continuous conditions state vector between were into obtain total equation. considered solve natural frequency spring. calculation results compared prototype test simulation verify effectiveness accuracy theoretical model. On this basis, we explored axial half wave number, circumferential material on research findings would provide important significant guidance structural design springs formation.
