FUNDAMENTALS OF CAMPUS JOURNALISM: A RESOURCE LEARNING MATERIAL FOR STUDENT JOURNALISTS

This study aims to determine the effect of fundamentals campus journalism a resource learning material for student journalists using quasi- experimental research design emphasizing one- group approach. The developed was evaluated by thirty (30) experts such as School Paper Advisers (SPA), Coaches and Trainers, Master Teachers content material, structural design, organization presentation timeliness information with all criterial deemed highly acceptable. Thus, writing competencies are also assessed accuracy information, brevity clarity style writing, fairness balance in which noted appropriate. It tested fifty (50) from Los Baños National High Batong Malaki (LBNHS-BM) prewriting post activities. Using mean, standard deviation, ANOVA, T-test primary statistical tools, it revealed that significantly increased their journalistic on descended developing level proficient level. indicated is effective can enhance journalists. strongly recommended be used school training paper advisers, coaches trainers, Also, another type may made, photojournalism, copyreading, headline cartooning, part an essential publication.
