چکیده
The measurement of nuclear generalized parton distributions (GPDs) in hard exclusive processes, such as deeply virtual Compton Scattering (DVCS), will be one the main achievements a new generation experiments at high luminosity, those under way Jefferson Laboratory (JLab) with 12 GeV electron beam and, above all, planned future Electron Ion Collider. CLAS collaboration JLab has recently demonstrated possibility to disentangle two different channels DVCS, coherent and incoherent ones, first step towards GPDs nuclei bound nucleons, respectively, opening exciting perspectives field. In this scenario, theoretical precise calculations, ultimately realistic, become mandatory. Light nuclei, for which realistic studies are affordable conventional effects can safely estimated, so that possible exotic exposed, play an important role. status calculation light summarized, particular $^3$He $^4$He, some updates presented. prospects next years, related series measurements facilities, addressed.

Generalized parton distributions of nuclei
We review recent theoretical results on generalized parton distributions (GPDs) of nuclei, emphasizing the following three roles of nuclear GPDs: (i) complementarity to free proton GPDs, (ii) the enhancement of traditional nuclear effects such as nuclear binding, EMC effect, nuclear shadowing, and (iii) an access to novel nuclear effects such as medium modifications of bound nucleons.
متن کاملLight-Front Dynamics and Generalized Parton Distributions
High energy reactions necessarily involve large momentum transfer to the target’s constituents, which thus rebound near light speed. The experimentally observed correlation between initial and final states measures the system’s response along the light cone. A convenient theoretical description of such reactions is light-front dynamics where the properties of physical states are described along...
متن کاملParton Distributions in Nuclei
We discuss two topics in this talk. One is a brief overview of nuclear parton distributions, and the other is SU(2)-flavor-symmetry breaking in nuclear antiquark distributions. First, we show that nuclear structure functions F 2 (x) could be explained in a Q rescaling model with parton recombination effects. Then, nuclear gluon distributions are discussed in this parton model. We point out othe...
متن کاملGeneralized parton distributions and strong forces inside nucleons and nuclei
We argue that generalized parton distributions (GPDs), accessible in hard exclusive processes, carry information about the spatial distribution of forces experienced by quarks and gluons inside hadrons. This way the measurements of hard exclusive processes open a possibility for direct “measurements” of strong forces in different parts of nucleons and nuclei. Also such studies open a venue for ...
