This work presents the smart grid system for distributed Renewable Energy Sources (RES) with control methods. The hybrid MicroGrids (MG) are trending in small-scale power systems that involve generations, storage, and various loads. RES of solar implemented boost converter using Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) perturb observe technique to track maximum power. Also, wind is designed by permanent magnet synchronous generator includes MPPT technique. battery also employed a Direct Current (DC)-DC bidirectional converter, has state charge. MATLAB/Simulink Simscape software used design proposed model. switching element all converters metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistor. controlled voltage source controller Proportional Integral Derivative (PID)-Genetic Algorithm (GA), inductors-capacitors filter reduce system’s harmonics. meters monitoring purposes residential paper analyses performances MG against scenarios.
