چکیده

In recent times, cities have increasingly promoted bicycling as a mode of transport part their strategy to develop more sustainable transportation system. Australia is one the countries that seeks promote in significant manner. There are two primary barriers faced this effort. The first organizational complexity planning and implementing cycling-related projects, which can span across different agencies government at various levels, from federal local. Second lack clear framework for effectively network using multiple data tools available these within limited budget. This study investigates use geo-design-based, collaborative, data-driven networks, brings stakeholders, such planners, urban designers, academics, into practice, thus overcoming mentioned barriers. Geo-design an environmental design complex problems involving collaboration teams supported by digital computing communication technologies. To best our knowledge, there no literature applying geo-design approach planning. Therefore, aims test networks examine possible scenarios facilitate decision-making processes. regard, developed bicycling-related datasets tools, Agent-Based Model. Then, it applied real-world bicycle through workshop while examining usefulness effectiveness procedures tools. Policymakers attended local authority case area, Penrith, post-graduate level students UNSW. Due COVID-19-related restrictions, was held hybrid format, with half participants joining online. results revealed facilitating approaches, proposed could improve process infrastructure. also enabled research team understand strengths limitations associated will help optimize them other practices future.

Estimating Bicycling Demand

Simple and reliable tools for estimating and predicting the amount of bicycling in an area would be useful for a variety of investment and policy decisions. Previous efforts to develop such tools have typically tried to develop demand estimates from basic descriptors of the population, land use, and bicycling facilities of an area. This paper takes an alternative approach using the idea of deri...

A pedal dynamometer for off-road bicycling.

This paper describes the design and accuracy evaluation of a dynamometric pedal, which measures the two pedal force components in the plane of the bicycle. To realize a design that could be used during actual off-road cycling, a popular clipless pedal available commercially was modified so that both the form and the function of the original design were maintained. To measure the load components...

Sidewalk Bicycling Safety Issues

Bicycle route and safety datasets for 2963 commuter cyclists in Ottawa and Toronto, Canada containing cyclist characteristics, collision and fall history, and regular commute route, are used for this analysis. Previous analyses found sidewalk collisions, fall and injury rates significantly higher on sidewalks versus roads or paths. Of the 52 events reported on sidewalks none were reported to po...

Design of An Intelligent Model for Strategic Planning in Mineral Holding: Case study, Shahab-Sang Holding

Business logic is one of the most important logics based on the decision matrix. However, using this logic alone and environmental uncertainty leads to problems such as low accuracy and integrity in strategic planning. In this work, we use an intelligent model based on the neural-fuzzy approach aiming at a desired decision-making and reducing the uncertainty in the strategic planning in mineral...
