Geometrical optimization of centerless grinding process by profiled workrest

چکیده
This work presents a method to optimize centerless grinding geometrical configuration. It is based on the regulation of horizontal axes operating and regulating wheels machine, coupled with an opportune blade profile, allowing continuous selection workrest angle workpiece height, without requiring substitution and/or manual interventions. The height cannot be done independently: their relationship defined during profile design. In machines two independent for wheel displacement, this can performed in process or setup phase. results optimal processing parameter choice leading improved quality shorter time as well reduced time.
