چکیده
As a source of xylan, lignocellulose waste such as wheat bran and aquatic weed Pistia stratiotes were employed, together with potassium nitrate nitrogen source, which optimized using the Box- Behnken design to increase production xylooligosaccharides. The yield xylooligosaccharides increased 2.05- fold in medium than non-optimized medium. produced showed peak at 890-900 cm-1 confirming presence β-glycosidic linkages when detected by Fourier Transform Infra-Red (FT IR). prebiotic effect was studied on two strains named Lactococcus lactis Cl MN515342 Cp MN515343 isolated from curd samples. growth these found be stimulated. A log Colony Forming Unit/ml value 7.813 8.146 for observed incorporated XOS. Short-Chain Fatty Acid (SCFA) GCMS. use lignocellulosic reduces cost. Massilia timonae has shown promising result stimulating lactis. Thus, XOS can or Yoghurt along used synbiotic food.

Optimisation of Fermentative Parameters for GABA Enrichment by Lactococcus lactis
Lu X.X., Xie Ch., Gu Z.X. (2009): Optimisation of fermentative parameters for GABA enrichment by Lactococcus lactis. Czech J. Food Sci., 27: 433–442. Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) has antihypertensive and anti-stress functions on humans. Submerged fermentation of Lactoccocus lactis was regarded as an effective method to obtain GABA. In this study, the effects of fermentative parameters on the ...
متن کاملAn evaluation and partial characterization of a bacteriocin produced by Lactococcus lactis subsp lactis ST1 isolated from goat milk
A bacteriocin-like inhibitory substance producing Lactococcus lactis subsp lactis strain, ST1, isolated from goat milk of Iranian origin and with broad spectrum of activity and desirable technical properties was used for evaluating some futures of bacteriocin inhibitory activity. Cell growth and bacteriocin production studies were carried out in MRS medium incubated statically under uncontrolle...
متن کاملα-amylase and β-galactosidase production on Potato starch waste by Lactococcus lactis subsp lactis isolated from pickled yam
Potato starch waste, a chips industry effluent, was used for the production of industrially important enzymes by an amylolytic strain of lactic acid bacteria, isolated from pickled yam & identified as Lactococcus lactis. The strain was observed to co-produce α-amylase and β-galactosidase. Potato starch waste was efficiently utilized (91.6%) along with high co-production of α-amylase and β-galac...

Lactococcus lactis subsp lactis BSA (L. lactis BSA) was isolated from a commercial fermented product (BSA Food Ingredients, Montreal, Canada) containing mixed bacteria that are used as starter for food fermentation. In order to increase the bacteriocin production by L. lactis BSA, different fermentation conditions were conducted. They included different volumetric combinations of two culture me...
