Guest Editorial: Power in Engaged Scholarship: Dimensions and Dynamics of Knowledge Co-Creation


 Collaboratively engaged research is shaped by dynamic power relationships among individuals, institutions and communities. Where some disciplines have explored the theoretical methodological implications of relations, engagement movement writ large has suffered from a lack explicit conceptual models in-depth analyses role in process knowledge co-creation. Over last 30 years, considerable attention been paid to how resources expertise within academic can be brought bear on intractable social economic problems local A necessary, yet under-theorised aspect these dynamics extent which positionality interpersonal between actors impact outcomes durability processes.
