Healthcare Logistics Optimization Framework for Efficient Supply Chain Management in Niger Delta Region of Nigeria

Optimizing logistics allocation and utilization is essential for effective healthcare management. Apparently, less consideration given to it in most hospitals Nigeria where resources are allocated health sector yearly budgetary. Hospital consists of several patient classes, each which follows different treatment process flow paths over a multiphase multidimensional requirement with scarce inadequate space. Despite the small budget provision made resources, patient’s demands better service rapidly experiencing upsurge. Hence, efficient optimal solutions required lessen costs towards enhancing Quality Care (QoC) Experience (QoE) public sector. However, certain control coefficients like absence Dedicated Logistics Department (DLD) medical facilities actually limit efforts stakeholders. This paper proposed Computational framework assess various strategic operational decisions optimizing multiple objectives using Type-1 Fuzzy Logic Model. In phase I, we explore resource plan. II, determine schedule by class daily level. While Phase III, develop capable evaluating Optimization (LO), Integration Information/Cognitive Technologies (ETA), Collaboration all Stakeholders (COL). We assigned weights between 1 10 modeled effects on supply chain. Finally, further separate strategies their combination identify best possible The computational experiment was considered basis data obtained from study conducted typical department. Results shows that our approach significantly evaluate optimized logistics.
