Abstract Land-applied municipal biosolids, produced from wastewater treatment sludge, contributes to microplastics contamination in agroecosystems. The impacts of biosolids on microplastic concentrations agricultural soil have been previously investigated, however, the potential for transport biosolid-amended croplands has not quantified.
