چکیده

Printed micro-supercapacitors (MSCs) have shown broad prospect in flexible and wearable electronics. Most of previous studies focused on printing the electrochemically active materials paying less attention to other key components like current collectors electrolytes. This study presents an all-printing strategy fabricate in-plane substrate-free MSCs with hierarchical encapsulation. new type “all-in-one” MSC is constructed by encapsulating interdigital electrodes within polyvinyl-alcohol-based hydrogel electrolyte via sequential printing. The bottom layer this fully printed helps protect device from limitation conventional substrate, showing excellent flexibility. maintain a high capacitance retention 96.84% even completely folded state. An optimal electrochemical performance can be achieved providing ample shorter transport paths for ions. using commercial activated carbon as material are endowed specific areal 1892.90 mF cm−2 at density 0.3 mA cm−2, outstanding volumetric energy 9.20 mWh cm−3 power 6.89 mW cm−3. For demonstration, thermo-hygrometer stably powered five which connected series wrapped onto glass rod. low-cost versatile believed diversify application fields

Encapsulation of Flexible Biomedical Microimplants with Parylene C

Parylene has been used as encapsulation material since several decades, e.g. for wires, needles and pacemaker coatings. Within this paper, its use as insulation and protection layer for flexible biomedical microimplants is described. Investigations on the deposition, structuring with reactive ion etching and the cytotoxic behavior of the etched layers led to promising results. Parylene seems to...

Thin film encapsulation for flexible AM-OLED

Flexible organic light emitting diode (OLED) will be the ultimate display technology to customers and industries in the near future but the challenges are still being unveiled one by one. Thin-film encapsulation (TFE) technology is the most demanding requirement to prevent water and oxygen permeation into flexible OLED devices. As a polymer substrate does not offer the same barrier performance ...

Carbon Nanoparticles on Carbon Fabric for Flexible and HighPerformance Field Emitters

Carbon nanoparticles (CNPs) are grown on fl exible carbon fabric via a simple and low-cost fl ame synthesis process. The entire struture of the carbon fabric substrate retains its high fl exibility after the growth of CNPs and can even be rolled-up and twisted to a large degree without affecting the electric characteristics. No appreciable changes in the conductance can be observed under differ...
