Holistic plug-n-play autonomous solar system integration: a real-life small-scale demonstration—a practical approach

Abstract Autonomous PV systems offer a substitute for or safety net against the transmission and distribution companies’ rising expanding electricity delivery fees. Across world, fees have climbed by about 3% annually while cost of energy supply has only gone up 5% over past 15 years. In this paper, drawbacks system integration are highlighted introducing unique autonomous system. The is also constructed in reproducible way so that it can be duplicated. Replicability showcased presentation two separate were created evaluated using same methodology. One uses Si-based conventional photovoltaics, other dye-sensitized solar cells. being offered support remote connections, allowing all data from to transmitted single endpoint (e.g., visualization platform). Moreover, system’s batteries modified accommodate systems. Finally, experimental results showcase operability proposed architecture.
