How Far Has Our MSMEs Credit Underwriting Assessment in Indonesian Commercial Banks Progressed?

The literature on credit underwriting assessment is huge, but many are designed for consumer banking. Given that most banks in Indonesia got their revenue from commercial banking activities, it critical to recall the main characteristics of current practice as recorded published papers with cases Indonesia's MSMEs risk assessment. This study discusses industry standard loan origination framework and emerging trend statistical advanced analytic methods challenges, focusing datasets leaning Indonesian data whenever available opening research questions this topic. Examples given paper may indicate used by assess creditworthiness MSMEs, although there no clue if either mentioned studies implemented respective or just academic purposes.
