Human emotion modeling (HEM): an interface for IoT systems

Abstract The use of IoT-based Emotion Recognition (ER) systems is in increasing demand many domains such as active and assisted living (AAL), health care industry. Combining the emotion context a unified system could enhance human support scope, but it currently challenging task due to lack common interface that capable provide combination. In this sense, we aim at providing novel approach based on modeling language can be used even by care-givers or non-experts model w.r.t. for services. proposed Domain-Specific Modeling Language (DSML) which helps integrate different IoT data sources AAL environment. Consequently, provides conceptual level related current emotional states observed subject. For evaluation, show evaluation well-validated System Usability Score (SUS) prove achieves high performance terms usability learn-ability metrics.
