Hybridization of additive manufacturing processes to build ceramic/metal parts: Example of HTCC

چکیده
Stereolithography is an additive manufacturing process, which makes it possible to fabricate useful complex 3D ceramic parts with a high dimensional resolution, good surface roughness and properties close those obtained by classical routes. Previous work concerning LTCC components, demonstrates that possible, coupling the stereolithography robocasting processes, obtain multi-material components (e.g. / metal components). On base of this previous work, HTCC using innovative hybrid process described. Various geometries alumina/tungsten in order improve characteristics current circuits, are built mechanical electrical characterized. Finally, hyper-frequency parameters simulated micro strip resonators were compared measured values on manufactured manufacturing.

Additive Manufacturing: Reproducibility of Metallic Parts
The present study deals with the properties of five different metals/alloys (Al-12Si, Cu-10Sn and 316L—face centered cubic structure, CoCrMo and commercially pure Ti (CP-Ti)—hexagonal closed packed structure) fabricated by selective laser melting. The room temperature tensile properties of Al-12Si samples show good consistency in results within the experimental errors. Similar reproducible resu...

Mechanical design of viscoelastic parts fabricated using additive manufacturing technologies are under consideration. Such a design is of great importance for obtaining final products with desired shape and strength which are determined by their stress-strain state. Mathematical model of model of viscoelastic solid which grows due to the process of additive manufacturing is proposed. Complete s...
متن کاملResidual Stress in Metal Parts Produced by Powder-Bed Additive Manufacturing Processes
In this study, residual stresses from the electron beam additive manufacturing (EBAM) and selective laser melting (SLM) processes, due to repeated thermal cycles, were investigated. Residual stresses play a crucial role in part performance, and thus, it is critical to evaluate the process-induced residual stresses in AM parts. Ti-6Al-4V and Inconel 718 parts produced by EBAM and SLM, respective...
متن کاملSelecting parts for additive manufacturing in service logistics
Purpose – For more than ten years, the value of additive manufacturing (AM) for after-sales service logistics has been propagated. Today, however, only few applications are observed in practice. In this paper, possible reasons for this discrepancy are discussed and a method is developed to simplify the identification of economically valuable and technologically feasible business cases. Design/m...
متن کاملAdditive manufacturing in the spare parts supply chain
As additive manufacturing (AM) evolves to become a common method of producing final parts, further study of this computer integrated technology is necessary. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the potential impact of additive manufacturing improvements on the configuration of spare parts supply chains. This goal has been accomplished through scenario modeling of a real-life spare parts...
