چکیده

IDeF-X HD is a 32-channel analog front-end with self-triggering capability optimized for the readout of [Formula: see text] pixels CdTe or CdZnTe pixelated detectors to build low power micro-gamma camera. has been designed in standard AMS CMOS 0.35[Formula: text][Formula: text]m process technology. Its consumption 800[Formula: text]W per channel. The energy range ASIC can be extended 1.1[Formula: text]MeV thanks in-channel adjustable gain stage. When no detector connected chip and without input current, 33 electrons rms ENC level achieved after shaping 10.7[Formula: text]s peaking time. Spectroscopy measurements have performed Schottky detectors. We measured an resolution 4.2[Formula: text]keV FWHM at 667[Formula: ([Formula: text]Cs) on single-pixel configuration. Meanwhile, we also 562[Formula: text]eV 666[Formula: 14[Formula: 60[Formula: text]keV, respectively text]Am) 256 small pixel array detection threshold 1.2[Formula: text]keV. Since intended space-borne applications astrophysics, evaluated its radiation tolerance sensitivity single event effects. demonstrated that remained fully functional significant degradation performances 200 krad latch-up was detected putting linear transfer above 110[Formula: text]MeV/(mg/cm 2 ). Good noise performance make well suited X-rays discrimination high resolution. space qualified flies board solar orbiter ESA mission launched 2020.

Coplanar grid CdZnTe detectors for space science applications

The characteristics and performance for two of the latest coplanar grid CdZnTe detectors, which use the thirdgeneration coplanar grid design, will be discussed. These detectors, with dimensions of 1.5×1.5×0.9 cm and 1.5×1.5×0.95 cm, were fabricated by Baltic Scientific Instruments, Ltd., using crystals from Yinnel Tech, Inc. The high μeτe product measured for these crystals will lead to improve...

Thick CZT Detectors for Space-Borne X-ray Astronomy

Cadmium Zinc Telluride (CZT) detectors are having a major impact on the field of hard X-ray astronomy. Without the need for cryogenic cooling they achieve good spatial and energy resolutions over the broad energy range from 10 keV to ∼600 keV. In this paper, we briefly review the historical development of detectors used in Xray astronomy. Subsequently, we present an evaluation of CZT detectors ...

investigating the feasibility of a proposed model for geometric design of deployable arch structures

deployable scissor type structures are composed of the so-called scissor-like elements (sles), which are connected to each other at an intermediate point through a pivotal connection and allow them to be folded into a compact bundle for storage or transport. several sles are connected to each other in order to form units with regular polygonal plan views. the sides and radii of the polygons are...

Performance Evaluation of New Generation CdZnTe Detectors for Safeguards Applications

Cadmium zinc telluride detectors (CdZnTe) have found a wide application in non-destructive assay measurements in the IAEA’s verification practice. It is because of their form factor, usability, sensitivity and good spectral characteristics that they are extensively used for fresh and spent fuel attribute test measurements. Until now, the series of CdZnTe detectors utilized in the IAEA have cove...
