Identification Of Bacteria In Seaweed (Kappaphycus alvaezii) Infected With Ice-Ice Disease In Tarakan City

چکیده
Rumput laut (Kappaphycus alvarezii) merupakan hasil perikanan yang memiliki potensi sangat besar sekaligus nilai ekonomis tinggi dengan olahan produk beragam sehingga dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat pesisir. Namun permasalahan sering timbul pada usaha budidaya rumput yaitu adanya serangan penyakit ice-ice. Gejala ice-ice umumnya ditandai pemutihan bagian pangkal thallus, tengah dan ujung, diawali perubahan warna thallus menjadi putih bening atau transparan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bakteri patogen (K. terserang di Kota Tarakan. Isolasi dilakukan menghaluskan sampel telah diambil sebanyak 30 Gram kemudian dimasukkan 5 kedalam Erlenmeyer berisi media pengkayaan APW 250 ml diinkubasi selama 6-8 jam suhu 370C. Selanjutnya jarum ose bulat disterilisasi ke dalam digoreskan TCBS TSA 3% metode streak plate 370C 24 jam. Kemudian koloni tumbuh dipilih warna, bentuk elevasi berbeda murnikan. Identifikasi menggunakan buku Manual for the Identification of Medical Bacteria Bergey’s Determinatif Bacteriology berdasarkan karakteristik morfologi biokimia. Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasi uji biokimia ditemukan menginfeksi Actinobacillus, Moraxella, Alcaligenes, Vibrio Bacillus. Kesimpulan terdapat pathogen teridentifikasi diantaranya;
