Subject of research: methods for selective determination an outgoing line with a single-phase earth fault based on the relative measurement higher harmonics.
 Purpose to develop method software filtering high-frequency components and identifying ground fault.
 Object distribution networks 6-35 kV.
 Methods wavelet-transformation zero-sequence currents voltages.
 Main results article proposes idea using wavelet transform organize current in order increase sensitivity admittance protection. On basis transform, modernization algorithm determining power is proposed according principle energy spectrum harmonics. The paper determine by coefficients discrete transform.
