Pounding between adjacent structures occurs when the separating distance within two buildings is inadequate to contain movement them during an earthquake event. Seismic pounding can lead significant harm or even destruction of neighbouring structures. In creating a model for structural response, impact stiffness considered as critical factor in calculating force throughout collision It important derive realistic values performing numerical simulation forces abutting attain valid results.
