Implementation of EFC Charging Station by Multiport Converter with Integration of RES

چکیده

Electric vehicles (EVs) are gradually becoming an integral part of the drive to accomplish sustainable energy standards. Due their limited onboard battery capacity, EVs’ expanding popularity creates a need for widespread charging stations. However, fast stations, particularly Extreme Fast Charging (EFC), may impose hassle on electrical system due overload during peak hours, frequent power gaps, and voltage sag. To flatten supply, photovoltaic (PV) Hybrid Energy Storage Systems (HESS) uncertain variable nature PV systems always include solar hybrid storage such as batteries supercapacitors. This research suggests multi-port DC-DC converter (MPC) with bidirectional ESS-integrated systems. The MPC can regulate majority active through battery, EV station, HESS AC grid. Additionally, PI controller is used MPC, taking both variations into account. Therefore, presented configuration achieve key benefits greater integration, more efficiency, reduced cost. Simulation results show advantages this multiport circuit PV-HESS design in different modes.
