Improved Whale Optimization Algorithm Based on Hybrid Strategy and Its Application in Location Selection for Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

The charging station location model is a nonlinear programming with complex constraints. In order to solve the problems of weak search ability and low solution accuracy whale optimization algorithm (WOA) in solving models or high-dimensional problems, this paper proposes an improved (IWOA) based on hybrid strategies. Chaos mapping reverse learning mechanism are introduced original algorithm, change mode convergence factor probability threshold improved. Through experiments 18 benchmark functions, test results show that IWOA has best ability. Finally, used site selection aiming at minimum comprehensive cost. proposed can effectively reduce cost selection. This provides necessary decision-making reference for scientific electric vehicle stations.
