Consumption of fossil energy continues to increase and therefore reserves are decreasing, thus the switchover using into new renewable is necessary. Biomass especially from oil palm empty fruit bunches one potential resource as that can mixture with coal fuel for power plant. However, biomass has several weaknesses fuel; it containing high potassium content low heating value. Potassium will react oxygen resulting oxide (K2O) in furnace boiler cause fouling slagging at tubes walls boiler. Washing flowing peat water method used reduce torrefaction 300C a use value bunches. This research resulted potassium, 5% 3.7% respectively by 5 lpm 60 minutes, process 30 minute was obtain 28742.17 kJ/kg.
