چکیده

Since acoustic agglomeration is an effective pre-treatment technique for removing fine particles, it can be considered as a potential technology applications in aerosol pollution control, industrial dust and mist removal, cloud precipitation interference. In this study, the cloud-precipitation interference effect was evaluated situ based on multi-dimensional multi-scale monitoring system. The variations spatial temporal distribution of rainfall near surface characteristics droplets air were investigated. results indicate that strong low-frequency waves had significant impact macro-characteristics clouds, microphysical structure rain near-surface precipitation, various microwave parameters. terms physical structure, cloud’s base height decreased significantly upon opening device, while de-agglomeration raindrops dynamic equilibrium. When sound generator on, particle concentration at sampling attitude 500?1700 m proportion particles with diameters 1–1.5 mm (by 1–5 ln [1/m3·mm]). contrast, increased by 1–3 [1/m3·mm] below 400 m. Moreover, during interference, reflectivity factor surged 2.71 dBZ within 1200 operation centre. Overall, distributions rates cumulative 5 km uneven influenced local terrain background winds.

Experimental Study on Diesel Exhaust Particles Agglomeration Using Acoustic Waves

Diesel exhaust particles are a complex mixture of thousands of gases and fine substances that contain more than 40 different environmental contaminants. Being exposed to these exhaust particles (called soot) can cause lung damage and respiratory problems. Diesel particulate filters are used in many countries for mobile sources as a legal obligation to decrease harmful effect of these fine pa...

Superheterodyne Detection of High Frequency Acoustic Waves

A laser ultrasonic system that allows for the excitation and detection of high frequency (GHz range) acoustic waves using low frequency, low cost detection electronics is presented. A continuous wave diode laser source, operating at a wavelength of 1544nm, is amplitude modulated using an integrated electro-absorption modulator and used to excite high frequency, narrow bandwidth acoustic waves. ...
