چکیده
Background Retrograde peri-implantitis (RPI) is a rapidly progressing periapical infection that forms around the implant apex. It usually associated with sites adjacent to teeth apical lesions; previous endodontic failures, retained root fragments, etc. This study aimed incidence of RPI in history surgeries. Methods Patients treated for both apicoectomy and placement presenting University Michigan School Dentistry from 2001 2016 were screened. A total 502 apicoectomies performed, only 25 these fit predetermined eligibility criteria thus included this retrospective analysis. Results Implants placed surgery had cumulative survival rate 92%. The was 8%, while 20%. There an increased trend cases where cause extraction persistent periodontitis (35.7%), but increase didn't reach level statistical significance (P = 0.061). Conclusion are not at risk failure or RPI.

RESULTS: At 6 and 12 months, Class Ie defects tended to reveal higher changes in the mean probing depth (PD) and clinical attachment level (CAL) values when compared with Class Ib and Class Ic groups. However, significant differences were only observed at 6 months (PD: 2.9 +/0.3 versus 1.4 +/0.5 versus 1.3 +/0.7 mm; CAL: 2.5 +/0.5 versus 0.9 +/0.8 versus 0.9 +/0.7 mm). Site-level analysis has p...
