Indoor-Lighting System Design Using Simultaneous Control of LEDs Lighting Intensity and Roller Blinds’ Opening for Economic Energy Consumption.

In this paper, daylight harvesting is used to minimize the power consumption - required for indoor lighting using electric roller blind. Smart controller designed adjust based on preset light intensity position of blind’s stepper motor, and consequently blind opening better utilization entering room. If desired illuminance level (IL) not achieved any reason, smart adjusts LED circuit current boost achieve precisely IL. Comprehensive tests carried out MATLAB-Simulink verify performance proposed – reveal that successfully maintains at Results techno-economic analysis performed evaluate benefits employing show an energy saving about 62% achieved, lifetime circuits can extend more than 20 years.
