Injection-production optimization of fault-karst reservoir—considering high-speed non-Darcy effect

Abstract Fault-karst reservoirs are featured by complex geological characteristics, and accurate fast simulation of such kind using traditional simulator methods is pretty hard. Herein, we tried to discrete the fault-karst structures into one-dimensional connected units connecting well, fracture cave based on reservoir static physical parameters injection-production dynamics. Two characteristic parameters, conductivity volume, proposed characterize inter-well connectivity material basis. Meanwhile, high-speed non-Darcy seepage term introduced balance equations for well-fracture-cave describe actual characteristics within reservoirs, better simulate oil/water production Based this method, a model 1 injection-3 was established. The change oil–water action law in different injection extraction systems under two regimes fixed rate pressure analyzed.
