چکیده

Intelligent energy facilities, e.g., smart grids and microgrids are the evolution of traditional through digital transformation. These modern paradigms expected to foster utilization renewable energies, sustainable development, resilience power grid. A barrier found when deploying experimental consists handling heterogeneity required hardware software components as well available commercial equipment. Despite fact that there is various architecture proposed in previous literature, it commonly lacks validation, specification involved equipment concerning industrial/proprietary or open-source nature, concretization communication protocols. To overcome such drawbacks, this paper proposes an innovative multi-layered deploy heterogeneous automation monitoring systems for microgrids. The structured into six functional layers organize integrated manner. open protocol Modbus TCP chosen harmonize communications, enabling interconnection from industrial scopes, indeed nature. An photovoltaic-based microgrid reported application case demonstrate suitability validity proposal.

Energy Enhancement of Multi-application Monitoring Systems for Smart Buildings

High energy consumption is a major problem in smart building systems. Existing studies focus on energy consumption of building not the deployed wireless sensors. These approaches are often fitted to a single monitoring application, and lead to static configurations for sensor devices. Moreover, immense raw data generated by the smart building should be used in terms of service. In this paper, w...

Siemens Smart Grid Innovation Contest Integrated Architecture and Programming Model for Distribution and Microgrid Automation

This idea proposes methodology known as integrated architecture for the design and deployment of distribution automation computing and communication infrastructure. By giving parallels to the ongoing efforts with the AUTOSAR standard in the automotive industry, we argue that in order to keep increasing software development costs low, the power systems industry has to go beyond current standards...

Architecture and Data Model for Monitoring of Distributed Automation Systems

A monitoring architecture and corresponding data model to support fault diagnosis in distributed automation systems is presented. The monitor system consists of a central monitor and a set of the monitoring agents, that cooperate via rule sets and diagnosis results. The data model combines event-based and continuous diagnostic methods and allows to adjust the monitor overhead. The achieved comp...

Adaptive Distributed Consensus Control for a Class of Heterogeneous and Uncertain Nonlinear Multi-Agent Systems

This paper has been devoted to the design of a distributed consensus control for a class of uncertain nonlinear multi-agent systems in the strict-feedback form. The communication between the agents has been described by a directed graph. Radial-basis function neural networks have been used for the approximation of the uncertain and heterogeneous dynamics of the followers as well as the effect o...

Smart pricing scheme: A multi-layered scoring rule application

Defining appropriate pricing strategy for smart environment is important and complex task at the same time. It holds the primal fraction in Demand Response (DR) program. In our work, we devise an incentive based smart dynamic pricing scheme for consumers facilitating a multi-layered scoring rule. The proposed strategy characterizes both incentive based DR and price based DR programs facilities....
